Tapp’s Arts Center is excited to announce the September exhibition will feature the enduring artist collective, About Face. This is their first art show in 7 years.

The About Face Group is a group of inspired artists, representing a wide range of abilities, who love to draw and paint. The disciplines include Figure, Portrait and Plein Air. All works of art will be shown from the efforts of new to well seasoned and award winning artists.

This show will be a great example of the high caliber of creativity and talent we have here inColumbia, SC.

About Face is a group of artist that work together and enjoy fellowship creating art in and around Columbia, SC. Founded in the attic of Craig Carlson in 1996, the original group was comprised of five local artists. Over time the group grew, was invited to gather at the Columbia Museum of Art, and for the last 23 years, has been committed to nurturing the inspiration drawn from convivial production. The About Face Group has temporarily moved to 701 Whaley for their drawing sessions and has grown their outreach to over 250 artists.
