Tapp’s Arts Center has spent the last seven years covertly creating the best arts experiences in Columbia, South Carolina and to celebrate, we are hosting the ultimate espionage party. Featuring a Martini Bar (brought to you by The Whig!) with spy-themed hors d’oeuvres, Spy-themed Laser Tag, accompanied by a live DJ (sure to make your music dreams come true), DIY DDR- that’s right, a lo-fi real-time dance competition brought to you by The M.A.C, and our very own AR Scavenger Hunt – yes, we mean alternate reality!
This night is going to be infamous, so come in your best secret-agent attire (think sexy Bond, sexier Austin Powers, spy vs. spy, Get Smart… the choice is yours!) have some fun, and show your support for Tapp’s Arts Center all at the same time!
Everything raised will go to keep our doors open to the countless brilliant creatives in this community who walk in with wild ideas and crazy dreams to realize for your amazement.
Tapp’s presents approximately 240 events a year ranging from critical art exhibitions and music performances to dance workshops and independently produced theatrical productions. Tapp’s is home to 27 independent nonprofits and artists that have created an oasis of camaraderie, collaboration, and support to help each other navigate the daily struggles faced by the creative sector. Tapp’s actively invites all voices, social conversations, and communities to celebrate creative production and is dedicating to maintaining a space that fosters experimentation.
We hope you can join us to celebrate this milestone on October 5th. If you have any questions, please email email@example.com.
