This backpack was inspired by our love of up-cycled materials and textiles. This backpack includes vintage military straps, and up-cycled leather belt, vintage upholstery material and hand dipped waxed canvas. We create all of our designs. The Culver backpack design includes a side zipper for easy access, two zippered pockets, an exterior side pocket for your cellphone and a d-ring for your keys. It can be worn the traditional way with two straps or the cross body way with one strap.

We are a mother/ daughter team from Columbia, South Carolina. Mary Catherine Kunze, the owner of Uniquely MC handbags, went to Winthrop University where she acquired her BFA in Interior Design. Sherrie Kunze is a retired teacher in Richland School District Two. We are an upbeat, local handbag company in which we design and make all of our products. Our main intention, behind all of our designs, is to create truly unique, one-of-a-kind bags. We practice sustainability by incorporating discarded fabrics, as well as, incorporating vintage belts and military surplus. In an era of self-expression, we want to create an outlet for individuals to be able to express his or her individuality through fashion while creating sustainability practices that impact our world and those around us for good.
