B.A. Hohman is an Ohio native who made West Columbia home in 1981. She earned a Studio Arts degree, cum laude, from Ohio University and a K-12 teaching certificate from Roberts Wesleyan University. In 1999 she left teaching Art and began full time mural and trompe l’œil painting for innumerable clients. Her range of subject matter and the scale of her is extensive, from realism to whimsical, miniatures to entire 2 story walls. Currently semi-retired, she dabbles in various projects that strike her fancy. She has exhibited her work in group and individual shows.

The purchaser and artist will meet in an outdoor space with social distancing to discuss and choose a favorite memorable scene to be recreated onto a portable 24×36” canvas trompe l’œil “window”. The moldings, window frame and sill will appear to be 3D although painted onto the canvas. A favorite item can be painted as though sitting on the sill.
